Layer by Layer Acrylic Painting Kits: In The Company of Orcas
Each Layer by Layer kit is a complete art lesson in painting with acrylics. Aspiring artists will learn techniques such as glazing, drybrushing, scumbling, wet-into-wet blending, impasto, and more that produce visual richness, texture and depth in their paintings. Beginners will learn how colors work next to each other and on top of each other. Each stage of the painting is presented as a separate layer of color with a picture showing where the colors should be applied. The kits also features a picture of what the painting should look like with each successive layer of paint. Each kit includes a step-by-step instruction booklet, eight tubes of acrylic paint, three paint brushes, a palette knife, a pre-printed canvas board and a color-mixing grid/palette combination.
