Irodori Antique Watercolors: Antique Violet Blue
Meant to complement and enhance Holbein's existing line of Artists' Watercolors, Irodori Antique Watercolors were created from the ancient palette of pigments used by Japanese and Chinese painters centuries ago. Highly saturated with exceptional pigment density, these Asian inspired watercolors granulate more freely and are slightly more opaque than transparent watercolors. Like transparent watercolors, they are mixed with gum Arabic and contain no ox-gall. It is recommended that you squeeze only what you need because it is matte and flat, causing the colors to dry hard and not adhere to the palette like a transparent color.
