Castaway Stamp Pad
The Castaway stamp pad works by altering the color of the paper instead of adding color to the surface. Simply stamp an image on to colored paper, let the image absorb for about five minutes and heat the stamped paper with an iron - the ironing will activate the color altering process. The result is a marbled or dappled antique look, similar to batik fabric. Castaway removes color from the paper without using bleach and will not deteriorate the paper over time. It works on most dyed papers, but not on coated or pigment colored papers. Experiment on different papers, as each will give unique results.
